Jets' Owner OK With Losing Season, If...

Jets' Owner OK With Losing Season, If..., A reporter puts New York's Woody Johnson on the spot, and his answer may surprise you. Owner Woody Johnson would choose Mitt Romney election win over winning season for the Jets, Where New York Jets owner Woody Johnson leans on the political spectrum is no secret. A report in the New York Post last November had Johnson donating over $100,000 to Republican candidates since 2009.

Johnson has not only appeared alongside Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney at campaign events, he's the campaign chair in New York and has been a driving force behind the Romney campaign's fundraising efforts.

When Johnson was asked during a Monday appearance on "Market Makers" on Bloomberg TV what was a bigger priority to him: a winning season for the Jets, who fell to 2-2 with a 34-0 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, or a winning election for Mitt Romney, Johnson, who was wearing a green tie, chose Romney.
